Term Deposit Accounts

Put your money where it will grow!

Term Deposits are an ideal way to save for your children’s education, a deposit for a house or car, not to mention your retirement.

A Wagga Mutual term deposit gives you a fixed rate of return for the term you choose.

With a Wagga Mutual Credit Union Term Deposit, your money is secure and working for you.

A Term Deposit is a formal agreement between you the member, and Wagga Mutual, todeposit an agreed amount of money (the ‘principal’) for a fixed period of time (the ‘term’) at an agreed interest rate.

With as little as $1000, you can invest your money for a term that suits you – for a minimum of 3 months to a maximum of 24 monthsat the applicable rate for that term. And, the interest rate won’t change, so you’re certain of your return.

The interest you earn can be paid monthly or on maturity of the Term Deposit in your choice of ways you’ve just read. (Monthly interest Term Deposits rates vary from standard Term Deposit rates).

A courtesy note is sent prior to the Term’s ‘maturity’ date indicating new interest rates.

Unless you tell us otherwise, we’ll reinvest the principal and interest for you at the same term at the current interest rate.

While we understand that saving for your future is important, sometimes emergencies and other unforseen circumstances arise and you need to access some or all of your investment.

Accessing some or all of your investment may be possible, please discuss your individual requirements with our Member Service Consultants.

To open a Term Deposit, simply become a member of Wagga Mutual Credit Union and complete the Term Deposit application form available at any branch or download an application form by clicking on this yellow folder .
